Victoria records 275 more coronavirus cases, one more death – The Age

A woman aged in her 80s is the latest person to die in Victoria of COVID-19, as the state recorded another 275 new cases.



Over the last three days, the state recorded 363, 217 and 428 cases.
The reimposed lockdown for Melbourne and Mitchell Shire came into effect on Thursday, July 9 – 11 days ago.
Health authorities say it may take two weeks or more for the effects of the strict measures to take hold due to the incubation period and time lag from receiving test results.
