The woman’s crime, the family say, is transferring money to Australia to enable her parents to buy a house in Adelaide.

Marhaba Salay’s older sister is due to front a Chinese court “any day now” on serious allegations of assisting terrorism.
Ms Salay, who lives in Australia, says the charges levelled against her 41-year-old sister Mayila Yakufu are “baseless” and are merely a pretext for targeting a Uighur Muslim who has family overseas.
