‘Always angry’: Man shot dead by police after frenzied attack on his mother in Gladstone Park – The Age

Gabriel Messo, shot dead by police during a violent attack on his mother Lilla in Melbourne’s north-west, was ‘always angry’ and prone to outbursts, according to his housemate.



Housemate Sylvester Pereira, 62, said he had felt uneasy living with Mr Messo, who was short-tempered and easily frustrated.
“He is always angry,” he said. “He was frustrated by small things … I would always keep my distance.”

Mr Messo was known to police but did not have a criminal record.
Ms Messo would visit the home three or four times a week to wash her son’s clothes, bring him food and pay the rent.
