John O’Neill says New Zealand Rugby “shot themselves in the foot” 18 years ago and believes Australia shouldn’t consider a joint bid with the Kiwis in 2027.



We have been looking after the Aussies for years, Hansen said. Every time we have required something from them, particularly at a high level, sometimes they have gone missing.
Do we owe them something? No.
