Think Pink

Bengalla Mining Company recently celebrated the receipt of a Pink painted CAT D11T in recognition and partnership with the McGrath Foundation for Breast Care Awareness.

To support the initiative, funds were raised on site through BBQ breakfasts, raffle items donated by suppliers, and generous donations from our employees.

To get the machine ready, PPG supplied the paint and WesTrac completed the work to get it ready for site. Trick Group provided the signs and The Chop Shop provided the produce for the BBQs.

All up, $10,000 was raised and presented by Warwick Gloster, the Maintenance Manager at Bengalla, to the McGrath Foundation for their ongoing work with Breast Care Nurses.

The cheque was accepted on their behalf by Bengalla Operator Kristy Newton who has been a recipient of the benefits provided by the McGrath Foundation.

Warwick said, “Similar to its impact at Jeebropilly, the pink dozer is a reminder for our teammates about the importance of regular breast screens and the important women in our lives. Thank you Jeebropilly for the colourful addition to our fleet and to everyone for their donations.”

A great job all ‘round we think here @ The Coalface. Well done and keep up the good work.
