The Broke Village Fair is back again on Sunday September 8 at McNamara Park and is a guaranteed day of fun and entertainment for the whole family.

The 2019 Broke Village Fair has it all. Whip cracking, live music, bush poetry, rocker car racing, magic, mine tours and so much more making it a day you don’t want to miss.

The Vintage Car Display showcases hundreds of vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, trucks and tractors and an amazing array of vintage farm machinery and is sure to be a favourite for motor enthusiasts.

There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained with jumping castles, face painting, rides and even animal displays with miniature horses, calves, camels, and chickens.

Browse through more than 60 market stalls, try some wine and olive tasting and then recharge with some tasty food truck tucker while you enjoy the music and demonstrations on the Centre Stage throughout the day.

Don’t miss out on the free mine tours to Bulga Open Cut which operate between 10am and 1.30pm. The whole family can go behind the scenes of a top class working mine where you’ll learn about the whole mining process and see mine equipment at work.

Ralph Northey, Bulga Coal Environment and Community Manager said that Bulga Coal have been proud supporters of the Fair for around 30 years.

“The Broke Fair brings over 5,000 happy people to our village every year and Bulga Coal is happy to be able to participate and support. Pop in and say hi at the Bulga Coal marquee at the Fair or join us on a mine tour,” Ralph said.
